BA3013/3: The 1975 Follow Forrest team about to depart from "The Lighthouse Cottage, Bluff Point", August 11th, 1975.

BA3103/4: Sir David Brand wishing our party a good trip. We are about to depart from the Geraldton Hotel on Forrest's track but 100 years later.

BA3103/5: The Bowes homestead, Northampton, much as it was when the Forrest Party stayed there. They called this Camp Number 1.

BA3103/6: One of the older buildings on Yuin Station. Built about the time the Forrest Party passed through Yuin. Yuin was at that time virtually an outstation of the Bowes.

BA3103/8: Pia Rockhole. Forrest left the known country at this point. Pia is a very deep rockhole with a spring in the bottom.

BA3103/10: When things looked bad for explorer Austin he buried some heavy equipment near Mt. Welcome so as to lighten the load on his horses. We searched for this equipment without success. Before departing we placed a plaque near the water hole which h

BA3103/12: We then returned to Forrest's route and soon found a fine fresh water pool which we were certain was one mentioned by Forrest in his journal.

BAS3103/13: A search of the west bank of the river revealed what could be the first tree which Forrest blazed on his journey. Mrs Helen Wilson, a keen Forrest historian, was the finder of the tree.

BA3103/14: As is usually the case the blaze was almost completely grown over and some cleaning up was necessary. Ted Oliver on the axe.

BA3103/15: The bark and wood is carefully removed for keeping. You can see how a reverse impression of the blaze is left on the ark. Ron Snook, Blanche Martin and Nolan Harris.

BA3103/16: A plaque stating that "Forrest camp 18 was in this vicinity" was left on a tree at the south side of a river crossing, 5 and a half miles (9km) west of Milly Milly Station homestead.

BA3103/17: We pass Mount Gould Gaol a relic of the bad old days. The main building was Courthouse and Policeman's quarters.
