Summary
The people of Tjuntjuntjara are known today as the Spinifex People or Anangu [the people] locally. Timo Hogan was the winner of the 2021 Telstra National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (Telstra NATSIAA). Tjuntjuntjara is a large Aboriginal community located 650 km north east of Kalgoorlie in the Goldfields–Esperance region of Western Australia, within the Shire of Menzies.
