Summary
Photographs of Chinese New Year celebrations in Northbridge, 29 January 2023. The festivities were organised by the WA Chung Wah Association and include The Dragon Dance Troupe, Lion Troupe, Little Apple Happy Dance Troupe, and the WA Chinese National Dance Group. The event attracted a crowd of thousands on a very hot January day and James Street was lined with food and drink vendors, as well as stalls promoting education migration. These colourful and vibrant photographs document WA’s Chinese New Year celebrations for the Year of the Rabbit and include a media conference with WA’s new Liberal Leader Libby Mettam at the Chung Wah Community Care stall.
