Summary
Taken during an Artists in Residence project called East of Us. Ten artists from Denmark, W.A. spent a week in Ravensthorpe and Hopetoun engaging the locals to create visual arts, sculptures, photographs, poetry, prose and songs. At the end of the week they held an exhibition at the Ravensthorpe Community Centre. The project was part of Denmark Arts' annual Brave New Works festival. In Ravensthorpe the group camped on Paul and Val Metz's farm. The photographer, Nic Duncan accompanied the group. In this photograph Bob Barnes is in his business Ravensthorpe Mechanical Services which he bought from Arnold 'Bunty' King.
