A collage of photographs of the store being built and the store on opening day in October 1958. Includes a portrait of Boans Chairman Frank Boan probably taken about 1965 and first manager of the store Mr John McNee probably taken in 1972.

Title devised by cataloguer. Caption on mount: Boans Waverley. Boans first out-of-town department store opened Oct 1958. This collage was probably made in 1972 for display when the Boans Waverley store was replaced by Boans at Carousel Shopping Centre. The portrait of John McNee used in the collage was published in an article about the new store in the West Australian 16 February 1972, South Suburban Section p.7.
