Summary
Project Teleview was a documentary about the beginnings of TVW Channel 7 in Perth, from license application through the the first transmission. The documentary was written by Coralie Condon, presented by Geoff Walker, filmed by Tom Hall and Keith Milner, and edited by Jim Healy. This clip shows the site for the TV transmitter and building of the tower at Bickley; installation of equipment for broadcasting; auditions for on-camera roles and variety entertainment; commencement of trade transmissions in Western Australia 18 August 1959; Rolf Harris joining Channel 7; Tuart Hill studio; and official opening of TVW Channel 7 in Perth.
