Photographer's note: From Monday 16th March, Woolworths introduced early opening times of 7am (an hour before regular opening times) especially for the elderly and disabled. The time change is effective nationally. Access is granted to only those with relevant, government-issued cards. Coles followed suit from Wednesday 18th March until 7 May. These special supermarket hours are to ensure that older people and people with disabilities will be able to shop during the panic buying caused by the coronavirus pandemic. COVID-19 disease is caused by a COVID or coronavirus.
