In July 2019 Manchester United Football Club, known as the 'Red Devils', arrived in Perth to play two games of soccer in Optus Stadium, taking on Perth Glory and Leeds United. These Premier League matches attracted international visitors from more than 30 countries and provided a boost to the local tourism industry. In preparation for this event Perth "painted the town red". Iconic city landmarks were lit up or decorated in red and Adams Coachlines provided a specially transformed red bus to transport the team members around during their 10 day stay. The coach was not painted red but wrapped in cast vinyl by Perth Graphic Centre.
