Summary
BA2493/2002: Triage waiting room, showing the counters for receiving new patients – the red being the main windows, the white window only used during overflow (busy) times. BA2493/2003: Ambulance bay, where ambulance arrival occurs and entry to Emergency Department for ambulance emergency patients, ground floor. Next to Emergency entry wall are a row of showers - for use by staff in event of chemical or radioactive disaster. BA2493/2004: POD C (for minor care) - reception area for Ambulance arrivals, Emergency Department. BA2493/2005: Patient waiting area from Ambulance arrivals, in POD C, including an interactive floor projection (foreground at left). BA2493/2006: Nursing station for POD A, the main nursing station for Emergency Department. BA2493/2007: POD A, the principle receiving POD in the Emergency Department, resuscitation room. Note the portable stretcher (orange) hanging on wall.
