Timothy (Tim) Brown talks of the establishment of Connections Nightclub in Northbridge (WA) in 1975 and the history of the gay and lesbian nightspot. In speaking of the history of Connections he speaks broadly about the gay and lesbian community in Perth; business structure of the nightclub; licence regulations; employment; drag queens and entertainment; other nightclubs around Perth; men only nights and rise of online gay dating sites; AIDS Council, fundraising and counselling; and the changes that have occurred in the community since the establishment of the club.
