Item Detail
Summary
On the river below what in 2019 is Green Place Reserve, probably opposite the terminus of Saunders Street. Blackwall Reach can be seen in the background to the south east. In the 1890s the area now known as Mosman Park was generally known as Cottesloe. In the photograph a light rail has been installed running from the cliff face out to a pier built into the river. There appears to be a track with a rough wooden fence going up the cliff at the end of the rail. A small wagon sits on the rail an appears to be full of stone.
