Interviewees reflect on growing up in the Mingenew district. James Pascoe parents lived in Strawberry before moving to Mingenew. He speaks of his parents/family living in Mingenew; employment; and his recollections of living in Strawberry - soldiers camps during the war, local entertainment/sport activities, hunting foxes, local families. William Jones spent most of his life living and working in the Mingenew/Sanstone district and talks of his parents, his family, and his recollections of the district - living on Pallotine Mission -Tardun Farm Mission; training race horses; various jobs. Beryl Elsegood speaks of her parents and growing up in Yandanooka; schooling- boarding at Geraldton; business college training -1950's; employed Elders; recollections of living and farming in Mingenew; and memories of Yandanooka.
