Summary
The Yarliyil Art Centre in Halls Creek opened in April 2015. The facility features a large gallery space and a working space for local indigenous artists. Elder Lulu Trancollino is photographed painting and appears in a touching portrait. Nathan Stretch prepares canvases for artists to use. Administrator Kevin Kelly is photographed at the centre. Around the town of Halls Creek are painted rubbish bins and car bonnets which showcase the work of local Aboriginal artists.
