Warnings and disclaimer
Title devised by cataloguer. Caption provided by railway historians A. Gunzburg and J. Austin: Wrecked WAGR wagons & crane Lakeside c.1923. However, WAGR records show that in 1921 smashed wagon GC9078 in photograph 282103PD was replaced by a new BD class cattle wagon. This suggests this accident was in 1920-1921 rather than 1923. (Information supplied by rail historian A.S. May)
