Summary
Port George IV Aboriginal Mission, also known as Kunmunya Mission, was operated by Australian Presbyterian Board of Missions from 1913-1953. Photographs of Aboriginal people working on the mission including growing rice, sugar cane, sorghum, pineapples, pumpkins, bananas and maize. Building a yard. Water supply tank and windmill. The windmill has been identified as a Boomerang single geared, open back-geared windmill manufactured by the State Implement and Engineering Works at Rocky Bay, North Fremantle between 1914-ca.1920.
