Summary
BA2596/1/34: The Aboriginal men on the ground have chains around their necks. BA2596/1/253: Behind the first group of horses (at right) a line of five Aboriginal men are walking with chains around their necks, a small group of men on horseback ride behind them. BA2596/1/270: Scaddan River. BA2596/1/276: A mounted policeman (at right) looks over the Scaddan River. Samuel Rea spells the river both as Scadden and Scaddan. No river of either spelling has been identified. The photographer was a police constable based at Fitzroy Crossing.
