Summary
This house was the base for UAM (United Aborigines Mission) in Derby. See Preston Walker's autobiography which describes moving to Derby in 1946 while waiting for the birth of son Rhys born mid May. The Walkers remained until the 'early part of 1947' doing some missionary work in Derby while they were there.
