Edith Cowan's home at 31 Malcolm Street, West Perth was bought by Edith Cowan University and dismantled in 1991. It was re-built at the Joondalup Campus in 1995 as the Peter Cowan Writers Centre. Peter Cowan was Edith Cowan's grandson.
