Summary
A series of aerial photographs of different sections of the battlefield taken in June/July 1917 and again in September 1917 illustrating the impact of the battle on the landscape. Bomb and shell damage is clearly seen to have increased over time. Taken for use in the planning for the 3rd Battle of Ypres. This battle is also known as the Battle of Passchendaele 31 July 1917 - 10 November 1917.
