Summary
The prefect seated front left is Dorothy May Brewis, daughter of Thomas Ernest Brewis who was Anglican Archdeacon of the Goldfields at that time. Dorothy recorded the names of the prefects. Dorothy attended EGHS from 1925 to 1929 when she completed her Leaving Examination and she took over from Rica Erickson as the teacher at Aurora School near Cranbrook a few years later. A. J. Irvine (BA Melb.) was principal of the school from its opening in May 1914. Standing (L-R): S. Watson, N. Bright, J. Bremner, C. Denman, J. Roberts, N. Mileson, R. Simpson. Seated (L-R): D.
