Item Detail
Summary
Book caption: The northwest coast of the Kimberley is immensely beautiful with a mass of islands, estuaries and inlets, and bold bluffs with sandstone cliffs overlying basalt. It can only be approached from the sea as there are no roads, and the coast is uninhabited except for the Japanese cultured pearl settlement at Kuri Bay. This view is from St Patricks Island in the St George Basin on the Prince Regent, looking north towards Mt Waterloo. Calytrix exstipulata in flower in the foreground.
