Item Detail
Summary
Book caption: "In the northern Eremaea displays of colour from wildflowers in good seasons may be seen between the spinifex or on loamy plains where mulga persists. However the Compositae give way to other species, the most famous being Sturt’s desert pea Clianthus formosus seen here in profusion. Also present are a purple pea-flowered Swainsona at left centre and a white Ptilotus obovatus in the background. Melrose station."
