Item Detail
Summary
Book caption: "A distinct association of Eucalyptus torquata with E. lesouefii occurs on rocky greenstone ridges north and south of Coolgardie. E. torquata is a relatively small tree with a rough bark and is extremely decorative in flower, the buds also being of a distinctive and intriguing shape, so that the tree is often planted as an ornamental. In the wild it associates with the other eucalypts listed under Fig 3.196. The understorey is of the broombush type. Taken at Bencubbin, in cultivation."
