Summary
Book caption: Along the inland boundary of the Mallee Region the mallee merges gradually into woodlands and it is sometimes difficult to distinguish between mallee and woodland which has been burnt. Here the size of the dead trees shows that woodland was present but the stand is of course at present regenerating as mallee.
