Summary
Book caption: Sometimes small salt lakes occur at the foot of granite rocks, absorbing the runoff from the rock, giving rise to interesting local communities. In this case Verticordia preissii makes a conspicuous show while the larger shrubs are Melaleuca elliptica which has large red inflorescences in its proper season. Emu Rock near Lake Carmody.
