Item Detail
Summary
Book caption: In drier inland areas, burning of kwongan may be followed by a regeneration of short-lived fire weeds along with the climax species. Burning of an Acacia-Casuarina thicket here has caused a proliferation of native poplar Codonocarpus cotinifolius which will outgrow the thicket and flourish for a few years.
