Summary
Book caption: In Acacia subcaerulea the first few seedling leaves (usually 4) are bipinnate. Then commences a progressive lengthening and broadening of the leaf stalk until finally the pinnae appear only as a remnant at the tip, and in the next succeeding leaf will be discarded altogether leaving the phyllode. All subsequent foliage will consist of phyllodes.
