Summary
Howick Street (later renamed Hay Street) looking east from Lord Street (from 1903 named Victoria Avenue). At this time Barrack St to Bennett Street was named Howick St and Bennett St east was Twiss St. St. John's Pro Cathedral was the principal place of worship for the Roman Catholic Community in Perth from 1844 until 1865 when it was replaced by St Mary's Cathedral.
