Gladys told me about when she and Sadie saw Mrs Bennett in her home in Kalgoorlie when Mrs Bennett took them off to the photographer. Gladdie stayed with Mrs Bennett and Mr and Mrs Douglas when in Kalgoorlie, and this was before she went to Gnowangerup to be Women’s Superintendent at the new Bible College. She said she was with her when she died of diabetes also the Douglas’. The wongutha came from everywhere for the funeral, camp people and all.
