Entire caption from donor reads: A warrior with his spear and woomera (spear thrower), without which he never went anywhere. Laverton 1921.Rod Schenk went to Laverton as a missionary to Aboriginal people; he lived in Laverton from April to December 1921. See ‘A Drop in a Bucket’ ch 1.
