Summary
The newly built second Causeway Bridge. Built by convicts and opened on Monday 17 July 1865 (The Inquirer and Commercial News, 19 July 1865, p.2). This replaces the original bridge built in 1843. A photograph of the north side of the bridge taken by Stone is available at call no. 6909B/28.

Title is caption in album in the photographer's hand. From an album A.H. Stone gave to his daughter Fanny Hampton on 30th October 1868 as a parting gift before she and her new husband left W.A. on 14 November 1868.
