Summary
Reports written to support nomination for Engineering Heritage National Landmark (EHNL) award. Fremantle Fortress and Rottnest Island WW2 Coastal Defence Facilities were built on Rottnest in the 1930s to protect Fremantle from invasion and have been recognised as a national engineering heritage icon by Engineers Australia. Disk is located at Oliver Hill Battery, Crew Shelter, Rottnest Island.
