BA2226/4: Sons of Gwalia from the mine hill, October 1957

Summary

BA2226/9 shows staff housing above the mine. BA2226/10 from the west across the flat towards the gas producers and the engine room. BA2226/11-16 are of the poppet head (headframe), BA2226/15 shows the grill onto which the ore was dumped, sliding then into the rotary crusher. BA2226/17 shows the welding and machine shops as seen from the headframe. BA2226/18 is the left hand side skip on the foot of the ramp whilst loading of the open skip is taking place.
