The first K Mart store built in Western Australia which included the supermarket K Mart Food store. By Merifield & Stokes Projects Pty Ltd and Jack Bendat & Associates Pty Ltd. It was opened by Sir David Brand 19 November 1969. (See 344085PD in this catalogue). This store is now the site of the Galleria Shopping Centre.
