Summary
Located 5km west north west of Northampton the Wheal Fortune copper and lead mine was worked from 1862 to 1868 over a length of 223m and to a depth of 90 m. The Wheal Fortune Mine produced 3,015 tonnes of lead ore at 75% Pb and 2,681 tonnes of copper ore at 17% Cu.
