Summary
Building of Niagara Dam started in 1897 and completed in 1898. When completed the dam wall stretched across 225 metres, being 7 metres thick and 18 metres high above the foundations. (An historical study of Niagara Western Australia by A. Cheetham, 1979, p.19)
