Photographs taken in Broome during 1909-1911 including unidentified Japanese people and buildings, luggers, pearling crews and divers, and Gantheaume Point.008693PD: Jackie Pryor (wearing his peaked cap) taken in Roebuck Bay (Broome) and on the balance of probabilty on either B 262 \"Patience\" or B 114 \"Roebuck\".This was one of a number of photographs taken on his pearling boat (lugger) that day. Another image was of opening pearl shell on that day and is on page 41 of "A Pearling Master's Journey" (JE deB and G Verity Norman) and probably with Reg Archer (Killed in France) in pristine whites. He is immediately behind Mr Pryor in this image.The European in diving dress, and the other men on deck are unknown. (Information supplied Oct. 2012)
