Summary
During an event called Fleet Week in Albany the United States navy Great White Fleet visited Albany 11-18 September 1908. The Great White Fleet was the popular nickname for the U.S. battle fleet that completed a circumnavigation of the globe from 16 December 1907 to 22 February 1909. Includes a photograph of the flag ship the Connecticut entering the harbour, the sailors marching in Albany and the Admiral (it is not known which Admiral as there were three with the fleet)
