Title devised by cataloguer from donor information. Some of the group may be members of the "Virgillians" , a fund raising group which helped support the work of the Cottage. Jack Mallett is standing behind the nurse 3rd from left in group on left of photograph. Writing as "Martingale" in the Western Mail newspaper, he helped to publicise the plight of Lady Lawley Cottage when it was forced to close in 1942 during World War Two, reopening in 1946.
