Title devised by cataloguer. Written on the negative envelope: Takeover of MMA by Qantas. The men standing are from left to right: Ivor Sutton (Marketing Manager, MMA), Gwyn Williams (Traffic Manager, MMA), Neville Spencer (Sales Manager,Qantas), Ted Karasek (Commercial Manager, MMA), Alan Yates (Assistant General Manager MMA). The signing would have taken place at MMA's offices on the 4th floor of 26 St George's Tce. The agreement was to come into effect in July 1976. Information on nature of the agreement from an article in Jetstream (Official publication of MMA) April-June 1976, p.4. (not held by the Battye Library) Financial assistance from the Cyril and Ethel Peet Memorial Fund has been used to preserve this image.
