Summary
Elevated view from the post office clock tower looking east on Hannan Street, Maritana Street intersection in middle ground. Miners' Institute (no.194) and the Australia Hotel (no.138-140) at left. Exchange Hotel (no. 135) and offices of 'Kalgoorlie Miner' and 'Western Argus' newspapers (no.127) at right, Mt Charlotte and mining operations in the distance. Note: the presence of trams dates this photograph after May 1902 when they were first introduced.
