Summary
If the New York Yacht Club doesn't win back the America's Cup in 1987, it won't be for lack of trying. The club's yacht, America II, is being shipped to Perth, Australia, where the skipper, John Kolius , and his crew plan to spend the Australian summer testing the choppy waters off Fremantle, site of the 1987 races. America II is due to be in the Australian waters by Nov. 16 (New York Times, 7 Nov. 1984)
