Summary
The house known as Dilhorn was built in 1897 for W T Loton, also owner of the property Belvoir on the Swan River and called Dilhorn presumably because Loton was born at Dilhorn in Staffordshire. Dilhorn was bought by the Department of the Army in 1952 and later became an Army Museum. It is a stately two storey house situated on high ground looking over the Perth Oval to the city. The floor area is 9,433sqft and there are sixteen rooms.
