Summary
The Mayor of Perth (J.T. Franklin) greeted the royal couple in an official civic reception held at the entrance to Kings Park. King George VI and his wife visited six days in Western Australia when still the Duke and Duchess of York from 18 to 23 May 1927. Details of the visit were published in the Western Mail newspaper 2 June 1937.
