Album is inscribed "Fanny Annette Hampton from her affectionate father A. H. Stone with his blessing & fondest love. 30th October 1868. Many photographs have been captioned by A.H. Stone. However other hands have written captions throughout, often with incorrect information. Errors in fact have been corrected in the catalogue records for the individual photographs and the listing attached to this record with explanatory notes. Photographs (128-139) have been added to the album after it was presented to Fanny in 1868. These are by Stone and inscribed by him with dates in 1869. Photographs numbered 140-146 appear to have been added up to 30 years later and include photographs of Hobart and an excellent photograph of Victoria Avenue, Perth in about 1900.
