Summary
Views of public library on the corner of James and Museum Streets, Perth. Previously named the Victoria Public Library, it became the Public Library of Western Australia in 1904 and later the State Library of Western Australia. These photographs were taken of the newly built Hackett Hall on 18 August 1913.
Warnings and disclaimer
These photographs were donated in three collections. The original glass negatives were found in Dr Battye's glass negative collection at BA8956B/986, 988, 997-992 (013888PD, 013890PD, 013893PD-013894PD). A print in the TVW Channel 7 E.L. Mitchell collection BA1271/225 matches 013888PD and a print in the E.L. Mitchell collection at BA533/382 matches 013894PD.
