Other business shown include the Suburban Stores Ltd Bulk Store, Lyceum Bootmaker and Charlie Carter Ltd. The top story of the building appears to be derelict, perhaps because of fire? -- 004100D: The Beaufort St. side of the building on 5 Sept. 1938 showing Charlie Carter Ltd., and the entrance to the State Theatre. -- 004101D: After renovations in 1939 with new art deco architecture. Business shown are, The State Theatre (in 1941 changed to the Astor Theatre), Charlie Carter Ltd., the Bluebird Cafe -- 004102D: the new Walcott St. side of the building after the 1939 renovations.
