Summary
The Albany Bell family home 88-96 Guildford Road, Mt Lawley, on portion of Pineapple Estate. Built under planning and supervision of Arthur A. Lighfoot, brother-in-law of Albany Bell early 1911. It was approximately on site of the original Pineapple Inn, the first stopping place for travellers (horse and cart) from Perth to Guildford. The site is now occupied (1976) by the Gables, a multi storey home unit complex of 100 units, 96 Guildford Road Mt Lawley [Source: Albany Maston Bell, May 1976].
