Summary
They are wearing a booka/buka which was used to keep warm and were worn by Noongar tribes in the South West of Western Australia. Some bookas had ceremonial or specific importance, or were handed down within families. Bookas were worn so that one arm remained unencumbered, and clasps were made out of wood or animal bone to hold the cloak closed.
