Mrs Jessie Butler, born Jessie Graham in 1904, talks about growing up on Xenobia Street in Palmyra and walking to Plympton School. Mr Sidney Ernest Butler relates how his family move from South Fremantle to Palmyra in 1920. Sidney E. Butler talks about his jobs, and how in 1920's, a block of land costs only £5 and rises to £35-£1000 after WWII. He mentions Frank Cann and Dick Bennett who were on the Road's Board and the location of the Board's office and reminisces with Jessie about the public transport and highways then.
